For vacuum applications requiring precise temperature control, Hotpack offers two vacuum ovens with temperature ranges of 40 to 280°C (104 to 527°F). Constructed of high-quality 304 stainless steel these ovens are built to last a lifetime.
Construction
Chamber interiors and exteriors are constructed of type 304 stainless steel and include two perforated stainless steel shelves. The Chamber is designed to allow stacking or racking. For operator safety these units feature a unique chamber design which keeps the exterior of the chamber safe-to-touch, even at the highest temperature settings. The chamber is insulated with three inch thick glass-wool insulation which is impervious to corrosive fumes or vapors and helps to provide efficient operation and prevent heat-loss.
Chamber door:
The rugged chamber door includes a heat-tempered viewing window allowing 100% observation of the test area. The door gasket is fixed to the edge of the chamber window and is composed of resilient high-temperature silicone for a tight door seal. Additionally, the door is equipped with a spring-loaded safety latch for operator protection and fast vacuum.
Microprocessor Control:
Digital Microprocessor control of temperature and vacuum allows precise operation, and a unique "ramp and hold" feature for optimum performance. An Alarm function provides audio alerts of any deviation from set points. The easy-to-read LCD can display temperature in either °C or °F. High vacuum levels are displayed in mTorr, uBar or Pa. An optional Thermocouple port supports two type J thermocouple product probes.
Heating System:
Efficient, long-lasting resistance heating elements are designed for maximum uniformity, and are removable through an access plate in the bottom of the chamber.
